Can you bring retainers on a plane?

Yes you can, but you have to tell the security people that you have it because they will find it because it is metal. Have fun on your trip. Yeah I had the same problem.

Yes, you can. You will need to take them out when you go through the metal detectors if they are removable.

Yes - but might have to run it through the medal dectector - just bring your carry case, put it in you carry on luggage and don't worry.
