I take this bottle everywhere so i can get water out of water fountains and drink all day long. Do you think security would confiscate it.

  1. i went on a trip a month ago and they would not allow any water for you to bring on the airplane unless it was 100ml or less. Same wiith all other liquids. Thats why at the trash can i saw hundreds of water bottles and juices.

  2. my mom travels all the time at least 4 times a month and i asked her the same question before i went on vacation this summer as long as the water bottle is tottally emtey it is fine

  3. No liquids! It stinks but thems the rules.

  4. I just took empty Siggs with me through airport security twice and they didn't have a problem with it.  I've heard that if they have liquid they'll just make you dump it.

  5. I'm pretty sure that you have to buy water after security. There are a bunch of places to buy water though. I'm pretty sure that you can't,

  6. From what I've read, you CAN carry an empty water bottle through security, and afterwards, you can fill it up at a water fountain or sink etc. So you can still have it on the plane, the water in it just has to be obtained from some airport water source.

  7. You can take the bottle...there just can't be any nasty turn-it-into-an-explosive water inside of it.

Of course the chances of a TSA agent knowing the difference between a full and empty bottle of water is pretty slim, so I recommend you pack it in your checked luggage and somehow deal with regular bottled water at the airport.
