Can you bring your own BBQ grill to a beach?

I'm going to Newport Municipal Beach.I wanna take my own grill but im not sure if im allowed to.

You can bring your own grill to the beach but it has to be a hibachi, the small round one's you can buy for cheap at Target or WalMart. Or you can use the ones they have provided for you at the Dog park at Newport. but those ones aren't well maintained plus you never know what people do to them when they're not in use. But i'm sure that at Newport, you can bring your own grill as long as it's the hibachi type. And you also have to make sure you douse your flame and snub your coals when you're done.

There are pits there, and at night you are allowed to bbq, so if u have a fire or something in the pit, I dont think it owuld be a problem to have a bbq.
