Can you bring your own food on West jet flights?

Curious if anyone has brought snack food like granola bars in their carry on onto a west jet flight.

I think you should be able to.  The only airline that didn't want you to bring food on-board was Skybus but they are now out of business.  Skybus wanted you to buy their food instead of bringing your own food.

i dont believe so due to the transport of diseases that can be contained on food from a diff state or country.

call the airlines and ask them or check on line to read all their policies.
