I haven't been on an airplane in a loooong time, so i'm kind of clueless, but i wanted to bring candy on the airplane. Am i allowed to do that? Or does it depend on the airlines your flying with? I know you can't bring liquids, but i just wanted to bring candy :] thanks!

  3. Yes, aslong as it is not opened

  4. yes, you can

  5. I do a lot of business travel, and I've never had any problems bringing food through airport security (as long as there aren't any liquids) for a domestic flight. International flights are a different matter entirely - customs will confiscate many different types of food items depending on the country you're traveling to/from, especially produce and meat.

  6. yea sure why not.

  7. I'm not sure why there are a couple of answers here about not having the candy open - what kind of candy are you guys thinking of?  It's fine, just pop it in your carry on and put it through the xray like everything else, it doesn't matter if the bag is open or not.  I travel every week, no one has bothered with any candy I've carried through yet.

  8. Yes,you can ring your own food on an airplane. They provide mornning muffins and packaged peanuts for free.
