Can you build a house out of recycled plastic lumber?

Would it be possible to build an entire house out of this material? I see decks and park benches made out of the plastic and it seems to resist weather. It would certainley be a greener way to build using recycled materials instead of chopping down trees for lumber.

You re talking about things like TREX. The answer is no way. Even a deck with trex planking has to have real lumber underneath for the support. TREX and other materials are not structural they are only good for decking. Which is funny when you think about cause people use trex because it wont rot but the underlying joists are real wood and will eventually rot.
