Can you bunny hop with a heavy bmx bike?

I have a haro f1 and it's 34.5 pounds. Is that to heavy to bunny hop?

 I'm having the same problem i can't seem to unny hop at all, I can pull the front tire up 18 inches but i cant get back tire up with my front, I have a haro f1 too.
