Can you buy AA Lithium rechargable batteries?

No, the rechargeable Li-ion batteries are too powerful to be packaged into a AA package.

There may be some AA Lithium batteries that can be recharged, but you will have to check with the makers of the ones you use.  The rechargeable battery designed to be used with your camera is the NiMH.

Not packaged as standard AA batteries.  However some cameras that can use AA batteries also use a lithium 3v battery pack (CR-V3).  If you use that type of battery then there are rechageables for you.

As for why there aren't AA lithium rechageable batteries, here is a quote from a battery site ...
