  1. Yes.  I traded some stocks today on my iPhone by opening Safari to my stock broker website, logging in, and placing the trade.  This is no different than doing the same thing from your computer, except that you have to do a bit more page panning on the iPhone due to smaller screen.  It would be REALLY GREAT if one of the major brokers would release a special iPhone app specifically for them, to make a more useful GUI than viewing their main site through Safari.  When that day comes, I will probably transfer my account to that company.  You hear that AMTD?  ETFC?  Anyone?
