Can you buy a Disneyland annual pass on a blackout date and be admitted in?

I'm going to disneyland next week and want to buy an annual pass. However, the day happens to be a blackout date, will I not be admitted into the park? Or will they let me use it because it's the first time activating it? Would this still apply to buying it online? Help please :(

Yes you can. I just called and asked the same question you can do that!! But after that day you can't go back anymore.. Only when the blackout dates are over. =)

I'm not so sure about this one. Is there any other date that you can go to get it? You could buy your pass online and then you would have to purchase a blackout ticket for $40 in order to get into the park on the blackout day. I would check Disneyland's website for more info on this.

No. sorry. You can't do that. You'll only be admitted on a day that isnt BLOCKED OUT.

You can do that.  I am doing the same and I checked with the disneyland ticket hotline.  The blackout date does not apply on the day of activating it for the first time.
