Can you buy a bluetooth transmitter for an ipod which will play through a bluetooth car kit? When I step into my car, my phone automatically connects to the car and I hear the conversation through the speakers...

Can you get an adapter for the headphone jack of an ipod which sends it's signal via bluetooth to the in-car stereo? (You lose a lot of quality with the FM transmitters)

  1. They have bluetooth adapters for headphones now.  You might want to check in to see if the adapters will hook up with your car kit.

    They are around 80 bucks.

  2. Here are several Bluetooth transmitters for ipods

Several of them look like exactly what you want!

I hope they work for you

  3. Sony makes an adapter for iPods that fits into the proprietary port, not the  headphone jack. I've never seen one for a headphone jack, and not sure if it can even work. You can pick one up at Best Buy for $79.
