  1. They don't just sell dogs there. They have pet adoptions on the weekends I believe. Go to your Petsmart and ask them when they will have pet adoptions next. If they won't be having them soon they will give you the name of a place where you can adopt a pet. I know Petco does, in my area atleast. I adopted a pit bull puppy from them about six years ago. It was around $150 but she came with her first round of shots and a couple free vet visits. I know now when you adopt a pet a lot of places include micro-chipping which is always good now.

  2. They don't sell dogs.  You can likely find a Humane Society group there on weekends with dogs that you could adopt.

Do not buy a dog at a store.  Buying a dog from a pet store means that at least one dog that is waiting for adoption will be killed.  You don't want that blood on your hands.

  3. I don't think they sell puppies there.

But, I'm pretty sure they have an adoption ..

At least they do where I live.

    Good Luck.

    (:

  4. In the Petsmart near me, you can buy puppies, birds, hamsters, etc.  But I don't know the price range.  But all of the puppies are really cute and so who cares how much they cost?

  5. not any more.

  6. yes but they are really expensive..

  7. yes you can at all the ones that I know of, and if you do its a great thing, because its pets that their previous owners had to give up because they weren't able to keep them. So your giving them a life long home, I think thats wonderful. And they are already vaccinated, you get em for cheaper then if you were to vaccinate them out of your own pocket.

  8. No reputable pet store sells dogs or puppies. If you find one that does, dont' walk away, RUN.  Many do, however, allow rescue groups to come in and hold adoption events periodically where you can select from dogs of various pedigrees, sizes, and ages. That or the local animal shelter (pound) would be your best bet. You'll find a good selection, get a great dog that will be grateful to you, and you will be saving a life.  If you are set on a purebred dog, contact the local kennel club (pet stores can give you a contact #) and ask for a referral to a reliable, responsible breeder. You will get a much better dog that way than buying from a pet store, and the breeder will be willing to provide follow-up support later should you need it.

  9. welll at ym petsmart you cant because buying pets from pet stores are bad, buy them from a breeder.

  10. Petsmart has it to where you can adopt a puppy.  check with you local one to find out on what days are their adoption days.

  11. mine sell them but I guess it depends on the store

  12. You can't buy a puppy from petsmart.  You can buy small animals such as: hamsters, gerbils, Guinea pigs, birds etc.

If you are really considering getting a puppy, please adopt.  So many animals are killed each day, don't support puppy mills.  If you do any research into puppy mills, I am sure you will reconsider and want to save a life by adopting.

  13. Usually they have a fish tank for fishes and if your lucky some sell puppies it varies by store.

  14. most of the time they only have kittens. they do an occasional adoption on a weekend. try petfinder.com. they have loads of shelter animals for adoption in your area :-)

  15. idk

  16. The actual petsmart doesn't sell them, but they do have adoption events where local animal rescues bring puppies there for the day. Thats how i got my puppy hannah, we got her when she was 8 weeks old, she's now nine months and is healthy and strong. I forgot what the adoption fee was, but it was no-where near the price of getting a pup from a breeder.

  17. Yes but they are from breeding/ pet mills. They are usually sick.

  18. No, you can't buy one. But you can sign up to adopt a dog. You can buy ferrets, birds, fish, hamsters, and rabbits at PetSmart. You can only buy puppies from Petland and breeders. I would suggest getting a dog from a breeder. Click here to find a good breeder by you: http://www.breeders.net/

  19. Yes, but why don't you try adopting one at your local animal shelter instead.  There are so many animals that need homes.

  20. Well, sometimes.

  21. no.

  22. cats-50 -60 +food and water and kitty litter! But thet=y are sooo muck fun and very cuddly and u can use them as pillows and stuffed animals when you are sad!

  23. They usually have adoptions on Saturday and Sunday. You know though, its all from shelters and you might find it better to go to the actual shelter instead.

    The dogs usually range 50-75.

  24. Depends on the store. Out Petsmarts sales puppies/dogs and kittens/cats. They usually only sale dogs on weekends outside the store and they're usually rescued dogs.

  25. you can buy puppies and the price depends on what type you want

  26. They dont have dogs there all the time, but they do have what are called "adoption days" where rescue groups bring all there adoptable dogs to a petsmart and try to get people to take them home. You will have to look up what days these adoptions will take place at you local petsmart. The price range differs for each rescue group but I believe its around $200.

I would strongly suggest going to your local animal shelter and saving a puppies life, its cheap, and they have the most wonderful dogs there. I got my dogs for $75 each and that came with them getting neutered, microchiped, all there shots, registration, and a neat collar.

    Good Luck!

  27. Petsmart does mostly pet adoption, mostly cats.. and then on weekends (depending on location) they have dog adoptions. You can always go visit and find out from them when their dog adoptions will be held. Usually they have a schedule.

  28. They do not sell puppies or kittens, but many places do have an adoption center that helps rescue animals once or twice a week.  You are much better going to a breeder than a petstore anyway - those animals are often sick - have problems with health.

  29. you can buy puppies on adoption days and you can go online or look in the ads to find when the next one is.  but i wouldn't buy a pet from there because petsmart gets their pets from this rainbow company that force breed animals.  the mothers end up dying soon.  they also don't really care how the animals get there as long as they do, so some come with broken legs or something. so if you are thinking about adopting go to your local pound for a dog because then your saving a life.

  30. only certain petsmarts sell puppies. call and check.
