Can you buy a tablet pen separate from a tablet?

Question

Well some snot nosed little boy snapped my tablet pen in half and stepped on it (I wasnt even home so I couldnt have done anything!) and I need a new one desperately. Do I have to buy a whole new tablet? And does the tablet pen have to be the same pen that came with the tablet?

You can get pens online, and in most computer stores. I think any tablet pen will do.

it depends what brand your tablet is. if it's wacom i'm fairly sure they're pretty widespread but i'm not too sure about other brands.

Contact the pen's manufacturer for obtaining a replacement stylus.  I wouldn't take a chance on some other brand working with the tablet in the same way.

But to answer your second question you do have to make sure the pen will work with your existing tablet. It depends on what model you have or brand. The pen for sale however should say in the description which tablet it will work with.
