Can you buy a weather strip?

i have a 97 plymout neon and neon's have the kind of windows that when you open the door there is no weather stripping that goes over the window, it's just glass. can you buy some kind of rubber or something that will make the door seal better and take out alot of noise when on the road?

no if you try and add anything to it ,this will make the door not shut good and you,ll hear more air and road noises than you already do,that's one of the down sides to this type door seal it either seals or it doest and its not really good at keeping out road noises,about the only thing you can do is replace the existing rubber that might help some,you,l hear lot of road noises on those cars,their built kind of on the thin side,even the stratus and the avenger is the same way their also noisy,good luck.

Nope, that's the downside to the frame-less window design.  Just make sure the glass track is not out of alignment and that the glass sits inside the top roof rail when it is fully closed.  If it sits on the outside, it does become noisy at highway speeds.

no weather stripping for that but vent shades would help for wind noise
