Hola.  Most of the time, 16 year olds look like 16 year olds, so don't count on it.  However, I'm always surprised when I'm standing in line at the grocery store and watch as teenagers buy bottles of booze without any trouble.  I guess you could say they would prefer the sale rather than the hassle.

Also, I'm with BlueCabo and his comment about the trouble you can get into down here when drunk.  You will be in a foreign country and it is extremely dangerous down here...lots of people watching for kids like you to take advantage of.  

I just recently assisted a girl who I found drunk and stumbling down the street, she was 15 and had snuck off from her parents, made friends with a couple local guys/girls at the beach, they took her to a house party, got her drunk, raped her and stole her id and money and then dropped her off in the desert without her shoes and she had been wandering for 8 hours trying to find her resort again.  She was hysterical by the time I spotted her.  She was lucky she lived.

If you want to die young, why not close our eyes and crosses the street, it will be very fun and also the best part is that you will give us more oxygen to our lives, is not beautiful? I promise you that you'll be famous will be released on You Tube!

other is go to the biggest building near to you and throw yourself, do it kill yourself is the same fu ckin' stupid thing, but at least don't spent our oxygen.

Stupid kids I can't understand why don't be more intelligent and invent other kind of things to enjoy the life, get drunk, what funny HA HA HA, well yes for your friends because you are the clown.

No.  The legal drinking age in Mexico is 18 years old.

Legal drinking age is 18, and if you look young, they will ask for your ID.

If you want to party, I will recommend you to go with your parents to night clubs like Giggling Marlin and Squid Roe, they work as restaurants till 10 PM, and you can stay there and have fun till that time (no alcohol for you).
