Can you buy an AH-1z super cobra without weapons? If so, how much would it cost?

If I want to buy an AH-1z super cobra for flying around ( I always had a passion for flight), can I purchase one without weapons. And if I can, how much would it cost?

It's unlikely that you'll be able to get a Z model, as the production is fairly limited. Also, the government doesn't mind letting people get their hands on old aircraft, but they'll probably have a major problem with somebody attempting to purchase the latest, state of the art. The truth is, you don't really need the extra performance for a private heli. You wouldn't notice much difference between the Z and earleir models in recreational flying. Earlier models are a little easiest to get, but you're still looking at millions for purchase and upkeep.

Sure, they sell 'em to every Tom, d**k & Harry, Larry, Moe & Curly walking down the street.

Even if they did, you don't have near enough money for upkeep, let alone the sales price.

No For sure they wont sell them to the public, unless they are completly out of use.
