(To clarify, if you only needed coverage for April, but not for the five months afterwards.)

  1. there is no a easy solution for your question.however,it is not solvable though.here is the good resource i have been referring.http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/ca...

  2. For automobile insurance the best way to get a low rate is do a policy comparison on car policies. Make sure that you compare similar options with the same deductibles, auto make, location, etc so that all options are a good comparison.

What I usually recommend is an online comparison quote at http://www.InsureAutoNow.info since they have lots of insurers and can give many quotes on car insurance polices.

  3. You can only buy 6 month or 12 month policies. However, you can cancel the policy, but they usually require 2 months premiums for down-payment.

    Take care.

  4. No.  The term of insurance is yearly, or sometimes 6 months.  There is no one month insurance coverage.  Of course you can cancel insurance after a month, but the chances are you will get some type of penalty for early termination.

  5. I suggest you call a nearby car insurance agent to help. Since I live in Mississippi I can't suggest an agent in Louisiana, but here is an resource that can help you. http://www.multipleautoinsurancequotes.c...
