Can you buy colored contacts at Kmart?

I was just wondering because I think it's stupid to go to the eye doctor for contacts. If you can go to a store to buy regular contacts then why can't you for colored? It's just more money being spent to go to the doc. So I was just wondering what stores might sell colored contacts? Kmart? Target? Walmart? etc. ok well thanks :3

Contacts go directly on your eye. Everyone's eyes are different sizes and shapes. You have to have a prescription to get contacts, even if there is no power in them. You have to go to the doctor, get your eyes checked, make sure you don't have any health issues which could be made worse by contact wear like dry eyes and allergies. We need to teach you how to put in contacts, take them out, clean them and care for them. If you don't take care of your care of your contacts properly, they can do severe damage to your eyes (please see the question on neovascularization if you have any doubts).

Then you can purchase contacts. They sell them only in optical shops, I have never heard of an optical shop inside K Mart, but there might be, depending on where you live.  Some Target and Walmart have optical shops in them, and you can purchase them there, it's always best to purchase them from your doctor, so you will have somewhere to go if there is a problem.
