yes you can but you may be billed by the carriage company for the excise its not that much.  I have bought electrical goods and with the price you pay and with the invoice you recieve its is still can becheaper.  I paid about £30 in excise to ship to the UK.  It is still worked out cheaper than buying in thUK

why dont you look at the Amazon UK site first to see if the items are available in the UK. You will then save on the intl shipping and import duty costs,

yes but i would never do it again. stuffed up my xmas and got insulted by their staff quite a bit

You can. However, I would look into using a package forwarding company like Bongo International http://www.BongoUS.com

They will give you a US address so that you can buy multiple items from vendors in the US.  Each item arrives at their warehouse and they log it into your account.  The benefit is that you can consolidate multiple purchases in the US and have them all shipped internationally in one box.  You can save a ton of money shipping overseas this way.
