Can you buy metro tickets (carnets preferably) at roissy-charles-de-gaulle airport in paris?

If it is possible can you please list where in the airport they can be purchased.

You can buy them at any Metro/RER station including the one which is in the Terminal at CDG. (Its been years since you have had to take the shuttle to the Roissy station outside the airport).

But there is no reason to buy the carnet at the airport and the possible confusion that could result (because of the zone requirements) is best avoided by a tourist who does not speak French.

The RER from the airport into central Paris will cost you 8.50 euros and there is no additional charge to transfer to the Metro once you are there. Just don't exit the station before boarding the Metro. (If you see a sign that says "Limit de validite des billets" you are about to do that.)

When buying your ticket at the airport just say "Paris" to the ticket seller as all destinations in the city are the same price because they are all in Zone 1.

You can buy carnets in Métro and RER stations, and also in places like tobacco shops and (sometimes) other shops, such as magazine stands.

Carnets are normally for zones 1-2, good only for travelling within the city.  You won't want a carnet of tickets that include the airport unless you plan to commute to and from the airport multiple times.

If you are arriving in Paris, typically you'll buy a ticket to get into the city (several euro), then buy your carnet once you're in town, although you can specifically ask for a standard 1-2 zone carnet at any station.

The RER station (line B) is accessible via a free shuttle.  It doesn't come directly into the airport terminals because the taxi lobby objected to that.  If you have no luggage or only a carry-on, the RER is doable.  If you have a lot of luggage, it's way better to take a taxi, or perhaps the Air France bus.
