Can you buy pain killers otc in the bahamas,like you can in mexico?

I do not know about the Bahamas, but I doubt it..anyway...you CANNOT buy narcotic pain killers over the counter in Mexico.  Maybe in border towns cetain places will TELL you that is what they are selling...but you have NO IDEA what is really in those pills.  No reputable pharmacy in Mexico will sell narcotics without a doctor's prescription..

I live in the Bahamas from Oct to June - and no, you cannot buy painkillers.  In the event someone approaches you to buy illegal drugs, you're not in your own country, you don't have any idea what you're buying or who  you're buying it from.  Huge risk.  If you need medication for pain, see your physician.
