  1. You can call anywhere from anywhere, as long as you have all the correct codes.  

    You need to dial the access code (usually I've seen 00)

    Then the country code,

    then the ten digit (I think for England) phone number, incl. area code.

    From both France and Germany you call 00 44 and then the home/business telephone number (omitting the first zero)

    e.g. if the number is 020764600xx then you call 00 44 20 764600xx

    Note for special numbers (hotlines, special rate numbers etc) such as 0800, 0845 etc, you cannot call these from abroad

  3. Yes of course you can you can ring anywhere from anywhere...that is, if there is a connection. It might cost a bit more. Using the area code is a good idea. I live in Australia and I call my rello's in Liverpool and its fine. Just costs a bit!

  4. You can open your window and call London as often as you like to, unless you get stopped by the police due to complaints of the neighborhood, since it is middle of the night in central Europe right now.

  5. yes, of course you can. it may cost more because you're calling a different country, but you definitely can call.
