  1. No. It has a firewire but it is only for the DV video side. I would not recommend buying one. We bought three of these units and they all failed within 2 months.
    It is not coincidence.
    Every JVC deck we have purchased has had catastrophic failures that do not get resolved even after sending out to JVC. They will lie and say it has been fixed, but they really have no idea what they are talking about.
    This deck is a rip-off, stick with Sony and Panasonic gear, it is well worth the money in the end.
