Totally! I'm also in a LDR, we haven't met..but i'm visiting her in 20 days! =]

Been caring about her for 4 years.

LDR's are so much better as you get to know them thoroughly first ^^ so you actually care moreso.

I've made a lot of online friends, and I really do care about them.

It's like a a real friendly relationship I have with them.

For example, I don't have any uncle who live near me. (We settled in the UAE, but originate from Bangladesh)

But I have met this person on this very site, and I call him Uncle...he's a good guy, and is like a guide...I respect and care about him, and he is very precious to me.

Just like him, I've made good friends with other people, and I do care about them.

Love: Probably.

I have never fallen in love with anyone I met online yet...but that's most probably because I don't think about them that way...but I also know that some people are happily married and live a great and loving life, and they met each other online.

So, yeah...I think falling in love with a person online is possible.

i met my ex over the internet and i onlyy met him because i knew his cousin (so this dosen't mean meeting someone over the internet is good unless you know they're real)

anyway

we wer completelyy in love before we even met and when we did finally meet it all remained the same... =]

But we couldn't care about anything but each other before we met :)

But then we broke up so now i hope he rots in f*kin h**l !

I'm quite sure you can care 'about' them...just think...most people care 'about' the starving children around the world...  But, caring 'for' someone is quite different...and, even within itself, can be differentiated...one can care 'for' an invalid in a nursing home (or elsewhere), but they don't have to be emotionally attached...or, one can 'care' for another person so much they want to marry them...but, that's usually called 'love'.  I would say, 'love' is caring more about someone else than you care for yourself...and, lust is caring more for oneself than caring for someone else...

my best friend felipe, i never got to meet him. and he was in loooove with me. i loved that kid. it's just a matter of conversation really.

i never got to meet him, he past away in april. :/

but it's definitely possible to love/care about someone you've never met.

don't let anyone tell you different.
