  1. Best check with your company policy & FMCSA regs since you are hauling hazmat, but I wouldn't take the chance with having a firearm on board. Most companies will fire you after discovering it.  In addition, what if your fuel truck catches on fire, the firearm just added more problems to a bad situation, since the ammo can go off in intense heat.

If someone approaches you & gets angry about fuel prices, keep explaining that you are only the messenger & they need to contact the oil companies directly with their gripes & complaints. Memorize the company's web address, phone number, & address, then try to use humor to throw someone off.  If they escalate the situation, call the police immediately! Good luck!!

  2. I carry a gun but you can't just go waving it around at people that give you a hard time....

The answer to this question depends on the laws of Wyoming, but just as important, the rules of your company.  Most that I am aware of do not allow there employees to carry while working, with a few exceptions.

You need to first check with your employer and if it is o.k. with them, you are more than likely allowed unless you go someplace that is expressly forbidden by law or that establishments rules.
