Can you cash a personal money order anywhere or does it have to be at the issuing bank?

i accepted a personal money order from an ebay customer, not realizing that the bank it was issued from (wells fargo) has no locations in michigan. i'm sick of having post office clerks and bank tellers look at me like i'm a moron for not magically knowing this stuff. how can i cash this thing?

You would either need to deposit it into your account. Or maybe you can try a check cashing place,
