no but a hamster cabn catch a cold from you, and it developsinto something called wet tail which will kill a hamster

it is quite impossible to catch a cold from a hamster, you maybe allergic to the pet which is causing you a cold-like -feeling etc, Sniffling runny nose, watery eyes couch.......

if you continue to suffer from the cold consult your doctor, but if your cold does not go you know your have to do something about the pet, EG perhaps take it back to the pet shop..... i know for a fact that you can not catch a cold from an living or non living animals.....
