Question:

Can you catch crayfish with a fishing pole?

or is that a stupid question.

i mean because i have caught crabs like that but i think it was a freak accident....

  2. you can catch crayfish with ur ******* hands......they don't live in deep water...all you have to do is find one and grab it

  5. definately, just get your bait on the bottom, i have caught them on small pellet whenfishing for carp. nuisances i reckon

  6. the only way I've ever caught crayfish was finding their little holes they live in and dropping a piece of bacon tied to a string down near/in their hole.  Then the crayfish grabs the bacon and hopefully he hangs on while you pull him out of the water.

    I don't see catching them by hand to be a very successful endeavor.  They can swim backwards very swiftly.

    Catching them on a hook seems unlikely also.  They tend to be careful eaters, they don't just swallow their food whole.
