guess not.... though some flies would be attracted towards honey, it wont be an efficient way of catching them. moreover is you use a more scented item like some essence, that would attract more flies than honey. use the honey for your own use...!!

yes. it attracts flies to its sweet smell.

Well, you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar, but a I find a rotting animal carcass works best.
