Can you change a hamster's sleeping habits/timings?

Not that i wan't to, just curious...

nope. well, you can, but they get viscious and might die. just like you staying awake for 3 weeks straight. you're going to get sick.

Yeah, if you bond with them enough, they'll wake up when you walk in the room.

If you handle them enough during the day they'll be less active at night.

But either way, they're going to wake up at least a little in the evening.  It's just instinct, even if they don't really do much.

yeah, but personally i wouldn't do this to my pet... whenever it falls asleep in the day, wake it up, that way it'll be real tired at night when you're tired too it will be totally fine and not tired the next day.

Yes, if you keep him/her up all day then yeah.

im no expert but i think you should gradualy change it

I'm sure you could, but it would take some effort.  You would have to keep your hamster awake every day; this would force it to sleep at night.  This wouldn't really be any hardship for the hamster; it's just that they instinctively sleep in the daytime.
