thats the point of a PDF, you cannot edit it.

there is one way, you can use Adobe Distiller to open, edit, and rewrite to a PDF, but the software costs a couple hundred dollars.

You need Adobe Acrobat, a program that is similar to Adobe Reader, but you actually have to pay for. You can make annotations, notes, and send it back to other people.

On a Mac, you can use the free Preview program included in the computer to make these changes.

If you have Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, or any image-editing software that can open PDFs, you can use that too.
