Yes but i think it is usually a better deal getting it in the UK before you go.

Of course! Your hotel will do it (at a grossly inflated price) or find a local bank.  Better still, use your ATM card and withdraw cash there - safer than carrying it!

Yes, but at the bank you need a passport to change money, not even a photocopy. I tried and they refused. Say:

"Quisiera cambiar mi dinero ingles para los euros, por favor."

Of course you can!  they have banks there, you know.

Banks are probably your best bet for the best rates.  There are also exchange booths, but they charge more, and ATMs, if you have a debit card - don't use a credit card, they charge you for the cash advance.

yes, but don't use the hotels - go to one of the exchange shops - you'll get a good rate with no commission if you go into the resort centres
