Can you change schools within a public school district in Long Island New York?

I wonder where I can find out the answers. We live in Lynbrook NY school district.

My son was emotionally bullied last year by two little girls in his second grade last year. I don't think he can take another year of them trying to make him an outcast.

just talk to a guidence counselor, thts why they are there, to stop bullying. and to change schools in second grade? com on. they are just kids.

Is your school so small that all the kids are in the same class every year? If not, you could try to make sure he is not in their class. But, yes, you can transfer to another school if there is room for your son, but you will have to pay tuition, and in some places that is very high. It might be better to bring this problem up with the principal or the new teacher this year and work on the situation together.
