Can you change the color of the trackball on a blackberry CURVE?????

I know you can download color pearl for the pearl blackberry (obviously) but can you change the color of the trackball on the blackberry curve??

The only BlackBerry that allows the changing of the color of the track ball via software is the BlackBerry Pearl 8100. The second-generation Pearls (8110, 8120, 8130) don't have this functionality.

The first poster is correct. In order to change the track ball color of The 8800, Curves and second-generation Pearl devices you would need to disassemble the track ball and either color it or cover the LED underneath it with some tape colored with a sharpie. I would recommend the latter method because if you ever wanted to change it to a different color, all you would need to do is remove the tape and replace it with a different colored piece.

The only way to do it to a Curve is to take apart the trackball assembly and color the LEDs with a Sharpie.  But taking it apart voids your warranty and you're stuck with one color.
