I have a front loading washer and it cannot be changed, but my dryer can be changed.

Not sure about washers, but most dryers, I think.  At least I can on my Amana electric dryer.

Check your book.  It should tell you there.

yes I change for my dryer machine and its works great.

My dryer and washer are kenmore front load are great .Check in your instructions.

I believe with top-loaders you can, but I'm not too sure on front-loaders.
