Can you change the name that shows up in your emails?

I put down a bs name when I started this account, because it was just for fantasy sports, so I made it a joke...

Unfortunately, now it has become one of my primary addresses, and ppl keep getting confused when "Jimmy Henderson" starts emailing them stuff.

I changed the name under My Account, under address/contact info to my real name, then sent an email to another of my accounts, to see if the change had been made, but it still registered as Jimmy Henderson. Help?

Oh, also, this account wasn't in my other address book, nor have I sent anything to that account in the past.

You have to change it within the mail settings.  Mail -> options -> general preferences and change the From Name.
