yes u can. my dad's changes colors if he turns the fone on and off.

you can do a trick to change  it  mines  is  blue right now.  theres a few things you have to manually  do.   1 get a piece of scotch tape,  get a sharpie  color of your choice.  fold the tape in half( small piece of tape)  color both sides of the tape  let it dry

2 use a eye glasses repair kit.  gently pop out the metal ring around the ball  remove the ball  cut the tape to fit in empty hole  replace the ball  put the ring back on.  you will  see  3 sets of teeth  they go  left right  bottom.  dont force anything  gently.  good  luck   one more  thing  make sure  you  power  off  the device  if you do  this
