  1. It's very unlikely you have a static IP address, yours will change regularly. If you check it daily you will notice how often it changes. Turn on your PC tomorrow and it may well be different from today.

  2. Turn off your computer (and cable modem.)  Leave it off for a day, maybe longer.  When you turn everything back on, you will probably have a new address.

It depends on your ISP how long you would have to turn it off.  For some it's only a few minutes, others may keep your same address for a day or more.

  3. Yes, if you changed your Internet Provider. Or you could purchase a IP changer that will hide your IP between random numbers.

  4. There are IP changing programs/Websites available. There is also this CMD prompt code you can use. If you have dial-up Internet connection, your IP address will change every time you connect to the Internet. You can also contact your ISP and see if they'll do it for you. Also, if you have DSL/modem connection, try unplugging it and leaving it unplugged for 5-10 mins. and then plugging it in again.

  5. yes you have to change the network settings located on the start toolbar at the bottom of the desktop
