Topic: Is it better for a society when people act as individuals rather than copying the ideas and opinions of others?
Society in every shape or form seems to always find its way in influencing an individual’s perspective on a situation. When opinions are tossed around on a subject, it can be difficult to disagree for the fear of negative feedback from others. However from following the exact footsteops of everyone else, people tend to leave behind their own thoughts and feelings. It is more beneficial when someone take a step alone knowing only that he or she might make a difference.
Take for instance the famous actor George Clooney. Many are quite familiar of him based on his profession as an actor. As the matter of the war towards Iraq had emerged, no one would have suspected George to go against it. By stating his opinion and thoughts on the situation, George managed to open the yes of others to look for the consequences the war will bring.
