Can you clean a MicroSD?

Question

Umm, long story short: there's been something spilled on the MicroSD...and it apparently happened months ago. Anyway, the thing is sorta sticky but someone told me you could just wash that away. I'm not sure if I should. (I'm not an expert.) I want it clean (or atleast without stickiness). I still want to be able to use it though. Can you really clean a MicroSD? If so, how? Cuz I'm thinking rinsing it with water might not be a good idea..

try with a soft cloth and maybe a very very small amount of warm water but it is probably bust and if you put to much water on it it could also brake   BE CARE-FULL

A damp cloth is probably the safest bet and should be fine, just dry it off. I've actually accidentally washed and dried a memory card before with no ill effects lol.
