Can you clean bones reds with degreaser instead of kerosene/mineral spirits?

I don't have any kerosene or mineral spirits but i have degreaser so yeah just wandering if i can soak them in that dry them off with the air compressor then lubing them will that work?

I wouldn;t recommend it.  Many degreasers are water based, so that will lead to rust.  Some of the additives in the degreaser can leave a residue that will attract dirt.  The best cleaner is denatured alcohol.  You can get at any hardware or paint store.  It contains no water and leaves no residue.
