  1. No, your friend is quite a little liar.

The can is worth much more.

  2. No , not true ...however , collecting them for Ronald Macdonald  House is an excellent idea and Tractor Supply Stores accepts them and turns them in for you .Who says we cant do a good thing and not expect something in return. One hand to another ..makes the world a better place .

  3. Even if this were true, it would be pointless as an environmental effort.

Some company might do this as part of a promotion for their product, but it is not recycling, not even close.

  4. No, that's an urban legend that's been around a long time. When Reynolds Recycling Co. was around, I was their PR person in my state and had to contact the media so they would get the word out that it wasn't true. Recycle the whole can, which is made of aluminum, and keep it out of the landfills.

  5. In short, No... and let's not call people liars. Sheesh!

  6. not that much money

but you can save them up/get money & be friendly to the enviroment

  7. No but I collect aluminum can tabs for St. Jude Children's Hospital.   Every Gallon jug filled up a child get a free chemotherapy treatment.

  8. Yeah you can recycle them but you aren't gonna get $500.  My husband & I recycle can & we get around $10 for about 3 or 4 garbage bags full of CRUSHED cans.
