It depends on the reasons for quiting. i.e. If you were being verbally abused or discriminated against. You can receive unemployment. If you just quit for no reason then no.

If you quit through no fault of your own.  If you are being made to do things that are not part of your job as a condition of employment, like the boss wants you to wash his car, or something.  Or if you are being harassed by a co-worker and management knows about it, and does nothing.  Or if you work in an unsafe environment and management will not do anything to make it safer.  But can you just quit for no reason and collect, no.  That is not what unemployment is for.

No, unemployment is for people who get layed off from work (not fired but not working either) or people who are unable to get a job. For unemployment you have to apply to a certain amount of jobs each day.

you'll have to wait up to six weeks before they will pay you,,but if you harass them they will pay within 2-3 weeks
