Can you combine human and avian DNA?

  1. Actually all the science in the Maximum Ride books is quite real so yeah there would be failure after failure (not to mention that it is currently illegal) but I'd like to think that maybe in the future there would be such a thing. But for now the current state of our bodys structure is to to heavy and cannot support flying. If avian DNA were grafted into a human they would need more than avian DNA to give us the correct bone and muscle structure to fly anyways. But hey, we can dream can't we?


  2. I would like to guess you would be able to (more like hope) I've got no evidence. I just read 'The Angel Experiment'. From how the story is started it sound like it would take a long time to combine the two and there would be lots of failures but it sounds a like it might work someday. I would give myself up to it but I can't  because 1: I have a life i need to live 2: I wouldn't want to end up with a beak or no hair and 3: By the time it will probaly come out i will be dead. unless they find some way to become imortal.
