I'm going to Boston tonight from Canada and were arriving in the morning. But I told my mom to make a reservation before we arrive, so we don't have to go around. But she DIDN'T make one. So Can you go and arrive at the hotel and just ask for a room without even making a reservation? And what are some good hotels there? Thank you!

  1. Why don't YOU make the reservation right now?  That way you can be sure there will be a room for you.   Just lookup the toll-free 800 number for the  chain you want to use ( like  Hilton, or Clarion hotels, or La  Quinta inns , or Marriot, whatever)  call and ask for a reservation at a site in the part of town you want to be in.    Or , you can do it on line.  Quick, easy, free, and then you don't have to worry about needing to go to several hotels and finding them full.  See site below to find type and price range you want in a hotel.

  2. Yeah - it might be booked though, but you can try.

  3. You usually can - but your options might be limited because not all hotels take walk-ins and some have no vacancies. It will be easier since you're arriving in the morning, but make sure you try to secure a hotel before doing anything else.  Also, you can ask information at the airport for some good hotels and possibly even call ahead while at the airport.

  4. You can always walk in and if they have room they will give it to you sometimes it costs more though.

You can go to this site and do a hotel search and if theres room available it will show plus they have a save rate guarantee meaning if you find it cheaper they give you the new price plus 10% back  They are always cheaper than just showing up.  redhotescapes.com
