Can you conect a cd player to a computer?

i am doing up my bedroom for my birthday and i am getting a new tv. My dad has a spare computer and im going to conect it to my tv because its hd. I will youse it to put movies on and stuff and watch through my tv. But is there a way to connect my cd player than can have 3 cd's in it at once and it would be cool if i could connect it to the computer and then the tv is this possible/ how?

Yes, it is possible.

You can connect the CD player to one of the TV audio inputs or to the audio input of your PC.

Even better, you can rip all your Cds on your computer and then you can get rid of the CD player!! (Use WMP11 for both ripping and playback).
