Can you connect a CORDLESS phone to a base unit of a wireless phone jack system and a CORDED phone to the ext.

  1. Yes you can.

    It doesn't matter if a phone is corded or cordless plugged into multiple jacks.

    Once you plug a telephone it into a phone jack, the PSTN phone signals are the same and thus compatible.  

    So, if you are implying plugging a cordless phone into the phone jack in one room and then a corded phone into another phone jack in another room of the same house, then Yes you can - no problem.

    Even if you just used a T or Y phone splitter on the phone line, you could plug a cordless phone into one leg of the Y and a corded phone into the other leg and the two phones will be compatible as extensions on the same line.  This is because the PSTN analog telephone signals are the same "at the jack" - doesn't matter .... corded or cordless.
