Only one of my TV's is HD and I was hoping to upgrade to a Dish HD DVR without having to purchase another receiver. Currently both TVs use the same nonHD receiver.

  1. I would assume so, I have charter cable with a HD DVR box and that has HD hookups as well as SD hook ups as well. So I would assume it would be the same for Dish Network.

  2. yes - use the HD outputs for your HD TV and use the s-video, or RF or video out to the SD tv.

If you don't get a picture on you SD TV at the same time as the HD TV, try pushing and holding in the HD/SD button on the front of the box.
