Can you control what you dream?

I had one of the best sexual dreams ever last night, and I don't recall thinking any sexual thoughts or masturbating. I want to have one of these every night(I know it sounds selfish and loserish, but I can't get a girlfriend, so thats the closest thing for me) but, is there any possible way?

  1. If you eat an aphrodisiac before bed (like chocolate or something which stimulates the senses sexually)  then yes it is possible to have a sexually oriented dream. It has also been tested and theorized, though not proven, that not going to the bathroom before bed may also improve the chances of having a sexual dream. Though that has its risks which I'm not going into.

  2. Read about "lucid dreaming" the more you study it ,and ponder it , the more control and awareness you'll have over your dreams. Its really cool for all kinds of dreams, being chased, flying etc... you start to remember more about your dreams and when your asleep and you realize "I'm sleeping" its cool to control it for a while. You'll snap awake at first though, right after you start controling it. Its cool.

  3. Don't think so. And ewww GROSS!!!!

  4. You could do some directed, meditative thinking right before you go to bed. That could potentially direct your thoughts along the lines of what you want to dream.

Some of dreaming is based on the unconscious mind, so by thinking consciously too much about it, you could preclude a dream in the unconscious mind about it.

However, it is worth a try.
