  1. The 1994 Town car didn't come from the factory with a 6-cylinder engine. The only reason to attempt such a swap now would be the pursuit of increased fuel economy.

There is no guarantee that such a swap would e effective. In fact, if the smaller engine was working harder to haul the car around, fuel economy might actually be reduced.

  2. Yes. It's called a Taurus!

  3. Doesn't make a lot of sense. Start saving up for a Chrysler 300C: those have a V8 that shut off half the cylinders when not needed.

  4. Not really.  It's way too hard to make it worthwhile.

  5. i don't know if you can but if it was possible it will cost a lot of moneybecausee you would have to change the hole engine.

  6. Like the other poster said, an engine swap would be pretty expensive. You would have to change the engine mounts. You might have to have them fabricated since the Town Car was never available with a 6 cylinder engine. You would probably also have to get a different transmission unless you could get an adapter (that would probably need to be fabricated, too) to make the existing one bolt up to the engine properly.

  7. no
